Shop Limited Edition, Online-Only Print Art

Buy the most unique art with 20x200

Buying art can be both intimidating and expensive.  The Internet has helped democratize the process by making art more accessible, but without guidance this access can still be overwhelming.

Enter 20×200, an online art gallery that offers limited editions of fine art prints and photographs from emerging artists.  Prices start at $20 for an 8×10, of which there are 200 editions offered (thus the name).

A range of sizes for each piece are available, with prices increasing as prints get larger (24x30s cost $1000, for example).

The site was founded by Jen Bekman, who owns an eponymous gallery in Manhattan.  Her mission was to bring art to everyone in a carefully curated manner.

She seems to have succeeded, since many of the pieces sell out within days of appearing on the site. (Four to eight new pieces are added each week, sold exclusively via 20×200).

While all of the works are contemporarty, the site offers a broad range of styles, from abstract to photojournalistic. (The photo to the right, entitled “Apple 1” and created by Mark Richards, is one such example).

Those concerned about provenance will be relieved to learn that every print is delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

Still shopping for the holidays?  Art makes a great gift, and the site can guarantee delivery by Christmas Eve if you place your order by December 17th (that’s this Thursday).  They’ll even add wrapping paper and a card.

The only thing 20×200 won’t do is hang the art on your wall.
