Tickets Mastered

The Easiest (Legal) Way To Find Live Event Ticket

Sure there are plenty of ways to buy tickets to concerts, sporting events and live theater shows online. But how do you know what other seats are available, to say nothing of whether you’re overpaying?

Fansnap is a comprehensive search engine that allows you to search for tickets that are available through more than sixty leading providers, including StubHub, TicketNetwork and eBay.

You can search for tickets by date, venue, team, group name, show name and type of event. There are filters for price point and location.

They also offer interactive maps that allow you to zoom in on available seats at the row level and to see photos of the field or stage from that spot.

FanSnap encourages users to write reviews of their seats and to upload photos, giving potential buyers some on-the-ground intelligence.

The company recently launched “Seat Alert,” which notifies fans when the seats that meet their specific requirements are made available.

Obviously you have to act quickly once alerted, but this method beats sitting on the phone for hours, which is how one did it in the pre-Internet age.
