Traditionally, the Netted team used skywriting as our preferred form of correspondence. But with graduation/wedding/party season coming up, we’ve been searching for a way to get the word out that won’t break the bank (or result in entire towns showing up at our barbecues).
We soon discovered Minted, which uses crowdsourcing to compile the newest and freshest card and stationery designs on the planet. Designers submit their drafts for everything from graduation announcements and wedding invitations to thank you notes and party invites. The results are incredibly unique, beautiful paper goods your recipients won’t soon forget.
Finding a truly gorgeous and original design isn’t the only perk, though: paper stock is of the best quality and printed to coordinate with all your text and envelope specifications. Digital drafts are created for your approval before any final decisions are made.
Minted is the perfect way to escape the uninspired and forgettable cards that have somehow managed to stick around to this day. And besides personal use, their custom calendars and stationery make fantastic gifts.
It also proves that nothing says “Chrismahanakwanzakah party” like an invitation set in Futura font on heavy card stock.
