Donate rice by showing off your knowledge with FreeRice
As the age-old saying goes, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but a bowl of rice teaches the kids what to say.”
For every vocabulary word you know on FreeRice, they’ll donate 10 grains of rice under the guidance of the United Nations’ World Food Programme. Since rice doesn’t magically appear, companies advertising on FreeRice pay for every grain.
If you’re less of a logophile and more of a mathematician or scientist, they also offer other quiz questions. Whether you’re a periodic table expert or you know flags like the back of your hand, there’s a quiz for your area of expertise.
You can even register and track your stats as you rack up rice right and left. Once you’re registered, you can even join a group and raise awareness and funds as a team.
With that in mind, the new saying floating around Netted has been “a quiz a day helps make the hunger go away.”
