A like, a favorite, or a star are all nice ways to say thanks for posting something enjoyable.
Even nicer? Cold hard cash.
Flattr is a new website that turns all of your digital likes and favorites into microdonations to let you acknowledge content creators you love without going broke.
Just sign up for Flattr and link up all your services – everything from Twitter to Instagram. Then decide how much cash you want to dole out each month, say $10. Flattr looks at everything you’ve liked at the end of each month and divides that amount by the likes you’ve given. 40 likes and favorites becomes $0.25 a piece.
In ain’t much, but it’s nicer than nothing.
