OPEN: The right playlist is essential to just about any activity, whether you’re throwing a party, going on a roadtrip, or cleaning the kitchen sink. But you can’t construct a dope playlist by listening to the same 12 songs every day. Luckily, the Internet is really good at helping you find awesome stuff to fill your ears.
PLAYLISTS.NET: This next one is my personal favorite: Playlists.net is an online community for creating playlists across all kinds of genres and styles. I’m talking everything from Caribbean Dancehall hits to a playlist inspired by Tom Haverford from Parks and Rec. Choose one and listen to it right in Spotify. It’s a little like exploring your local record store, minus the mildew.
WHITE LABEL: If you follow hip-hop, you know that a lot happens on Twitter, so why not use it to find new tracks? White Label does it for you—grab this app to browse a feed of songs from up-and-coming artists and see what they’re tweeting, so you can always be in the loop.
