Giving to multiple charities is great. Managing all the mailings, checks and paperwork that comes with such philanthropy, less so.
Now, thanks to Givv.org, you can support all of your favorite non-profits with a single monthly online payment.
To start you create a list of organizations that you want to give to (the site will prompt you to sign up on the first organization you choose). From there you select a total monthly amount to give.
This total will be split evenly across all of the organizations you choose, taken from your PayPal account on a monthly basis.
Keeping track of how much you spend (and how much good you do) is easy—the site displays your “All Time Total” amount spent when you log in. You can also see (and change) how much you’re giving monthly with one click.
And when you go to file your 2010 tax return, all your charity information will be in one handy place.
Another bonus: Because it’s anonymous you stay off the mailing lists, which means less junk mail.
