Want to free up a huge chunk of storage space on your iPhone right now?
Then meet Loom, a new way to store photos and videos, now available for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
When you first launch Loom, it gathers up your photos and videos and uploads them to the cloud. After that, Loom acts just like your default photo stream – without using any storage space on your phone, iPad, or computer.
Every time you open the app, new photos and videos automatically import to your Loom account, which can be viewed from anywhere. You can also set Loom to work in the background, instantaneously uploading files as they are created. iPhone- and iPad-optimized versions of photos (about 200 times more than can be stored in the native app) are cached to the device itself for offline viewing.
Loom is free for up to 5 gigabytes of data – a good price for prime iPhone real estate.
